Physical Therapy

Roger Fong

As a Physical Therapist and Acupuncturist—and the Founder, Owner, and Clinical Director of this practice since 2015—my work is guided by compassion, curiosity, and a sincere belief in the body’s natural capacity to heal. I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where every person feels seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.

For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people on their rehabilitation journeys. Each person I’ve worked with has shaped the physical therapist I am today—helping me refine my skills, deepen my empathy, and stay committed to what matters most: getting clients moving with greater confidence, comfort, and independence.

My practice is grounded in the belief that every individual deserves care that is compassionate, thoughtful, and genuinely tailored to their unique story. During our time together, you’ll receive direct, one-on-one care. We’ll begin with a comprehensive evaluation designed to help you understand why you’re experiencing your current symptoms or limitations—and how we can work together to move you forward. I’ll guide you through what to do, how to do it, and why it matters, so you feel empowered to make meaningful adjustments both in and between our sessions. You will never be handed a sheet of exercises and sent to a corner; instead, we will collaborate, communicate openly, and build a plan that truly fits your life.

I specialize in vestibular rehabilitation, geriatric care, neurologic conditions, and orthopedic recovery such as neck & back pain, extremity joint pain, and soft tissue injuries. Over the years, I’ve also designed and led clinical programs focused on balance and fall prevention, vestibular conditions, and low-back pain outcomes. I’m especially proud to have helped establish the University of Chicago Medical Center’s Ataxia Clinic—one of only seven in the nation.

At the heart of my work is connection. Whether I’m walking alongside someone recovering from an injury, supporting a caregiver, or partnering with physicians to improve outcomes, my goal is always the same: to help people live fuller, steadier, more empowered lives.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to being part of your journey.
